The BLITZMATIC range of blast chillers is completed by a whole range of blast chillers dedicated to medium and big catering facilities and for application of the Cook&Chill concept. For this kind of use, Friulinox has studied a complete range of Blast Chilling/Freezing Storage Rooms and Tunnels for GN1/1 and GN2/1 tray trolleys.

Depending on the production capacities required by the catering service (canteens, big communities, airports, hospitals, etc.) the BLITZMATIC Blast Chillers can respond quickly and effectively to the various types of blast chilling from the gentlest (SOFT) to the strongest (HARD) choosing out of 8 programmes stored by Friulinox or the other 4 programmes the user may customise.

The cycles can then be stored, giving them the name of food chilled and recalled when needed.

These operations are even quicker and more intuitive thanks to a selection and control knob. Precision in the various cycle phases is guaranteed by the multipoint probe, a standard feature on this range of Blast Chillers.

There is also a multiprobe kit available for Blast Chiller Rooms and Tunnels that can control up to four different probes; it also provides a more accurate analysis of the temperatures in the various blast chilling phases.

When the blast chilling or freezing cycle is finished, the blast chiller goes automatically to the preservation phase at the temperature set. With the Blitzmatic blast chiller it is also possible:

- to connect a printer installed on the unit;

- connection, via software, to a dedicated HACCP detection system;

- to use a UVC lamp to sterilize the room and kitchen utensils (optional);

- to store 30 cycles to be used again later.
